The radio through the internet :

In this part, I will present the software eQSO which allows you to establish "long distance" contacts by using the Internet.
eQSO is a client / server software program designed by Amateur Radio enthusiasts for linking Amateur Radio RF gateways and repeaters via the Internet. The software may be used by all persons who want to make new radio contact.

The software eQSO allows for example to speak with an American or a Chinese to exchange information in English, usually about the radio.

First, you have to connect a radio to the soundcard of your pc.
After that, you can start with the software.

Here is the program's main window, you have to enter a login and connect to a server on the Internet to establish the radio link:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Once connected, it’s possible to communicate between two PC’s or between a PC and a radio or between two radios.
